The Smead Shelf-Master End Tab File Folder, part number SMD 27134, is designed for organizations utilizing shelf filing systems. These legal-sized folders measure 8 1/2" x 14" and feature an end tab location with 1/3-cut assorted position tabs, each 1/2" wide. Constructed from 11 pt. manila stock with a double-thick, reinforced tab, they are built for durability in high-volume record management environments. The front panel is 9" high and undercut by 1/4" to enhance label readability. Each folder is scored for a 3/4" expansion, accommodating a moderate volume of documents. Embossed lines on the tabs facilitate accurate label placement. These folders are suitable for applications such as medical, dental, or hospital filing systems, or other large records management operations where efficient access and organization are critical. They are slit-punched on 2-3/4" centers in four positions, allowing for the optional installation of fasteners (sold separately). Each box contains 100 folders, made with 10% post-consumer recycled content.
