The Smead SafeSHIELD 3-Divider Classification Folders, part number SMD 19092, are designed for organizing legal-size documents within business environments. These heavy-duty folders feature 25 pt. Pressboard construction and a 3-inch expansion capacity, suitable for managing substantial document sets. Each folder includes three 17 pt. Kraft dividers, each with a 1-inch SafeSHIELD coated twin-prong fastener, creating multiple filing surfaces. The front and back panels also incorporate two 2-inch SafeSHIELD coated fasteners. The SafeSHIELD technology is intended to minimize paper tears and finger cuts, while also reducing fastener crinkling during use. With a 2/5 cut tab on the right of center, these folders facilitate categorization and retrieval of legal documents measuring 8 1/2 x 14 inches. They are supplied in boxes of 10 and are made from 100% recycled material, with 30% post-consumer waste.
Heavy-duty classification folders feature patent-pending, SafeShield Coated Fastener Technology to help prevent paper tears, finger cuts and excessive fastener crinkling. SafeShield adds protection for papers and fingers while also reducing fastener crinkling. Fasteners on front and back panels and dividers create separate filing surfaces within one folder. These two 2" coated fasteners on the panels are in positions 1 and 3. Legal-size folders are made of sturdy, 25 point Pressboard stock. The three dividers offer a 1" SafeShield coated, twin-prong fastener and are made of 17 point stock. Folder tab is 2/5 cut. Divider tab is 3/8" high and 1/3 cut.
