The Smead Plain 2/5 Tab 2-divider Classification Folders, part number SMD 19076, are designed for organizing legal-sized documents requiring internal separation. These folders accommodate 8 1/2" x 14" sheets and offer a 2" expansion capacity. Constructed from 25 pt. Pressboard stock, they feature two internal dividers made from 17 pt. Kraft stock. Each folder includes two 2" SafeShield-coated fasteners on the panels (positions 1 and 3) and 1" SafeShield-coated twin-prong fasteners on each divider, creating multiple filing surfaces. The SafeShield technology aims to reduce paper tears and finger cuts during use. With a 2/5 cut tab located right of center, these heavy-duty folders are suitable for managing complex projects or case files where document segregation and secure fastening are necessary. They are sold in boxes of 10 and contain 100% recycled content.
Heavy-duty classification folders feature patent-pending, SafeShield Coated Fastener Technology to help prevent paper tears, finger cuts and excessive fastener crinkling. SafeShield adds protection for papers and fingers while also reducing fastener crinkling. Fasteners on front and back panels and dividers create separate filing surfaces within one folder. These two 2" coated fasteners on the panels are in positions 1 and 3. Legal-size folder also offers a 2" expansion and is made of sturdy, 25 point Pressboard stock. The two dividers offer a 1" SafeShield-coated, twin-prong fastener and are made of 17 point stock. Folder tab is 2/5 cut. Divider tab is 3/8" high and 1/3 cut.
