These folders feature a 2-inch expansion capacity and are constructed from 25 pt. Pressboard for durability. Each folder includes two 2-inch SafeSHIELD coated fasteners on the front and back panels, positioned at 1 and 3, to secure documents and mitigate paper tears or finger cuts. A single 17 pt. Kraft divider, equipped with a 1-inch SafeSHIELD coated twin-prong fastener, creates an additional filing surface. The 2/5 cut tab is located right of center for labeling. These folders are suitable for businesses requiring robust document management for legal-sized materials, providing distinct sections for categorized filing. The SMD 18733 folders are supplied in boxes of 10 and are made from 100% recycled content, with 30% post-consumer waste.
Heavy-duty classification folders feature patent-pending, SafeShield Coated Fastener Technology to help prevent paper tears, finger cuts and excessive fastener crinkling. SafeShield adds protection for papers and fingers while also reducing fastener crinkling. Fasteners on front and back panels and the divider create separate filing surfaces within one folder.
