The Smead SafeSHIELD Fasteners 3-Div Classification Folders (SMD 14098) are designed for organizing letter-sized documents within a single unit. These heavy-duty folders feature 25 pt. Pressboard construction and include three 17 pt. Kraft dividers, creating multiple filing surfaces. Each folder offers a 3-inch expansion capacity and incorporates Smead's SafeSHIELD Coated Fastener Technology, which aims to minimize paper tears and finger cuts during use. The folders include two 2-inch coated fasteners on the main panels and a 1-inch SafeSHIELD-coated twin-prong fastener on each divider. With a 2/5 cut tab located right of center, these folders are suitable for IT departments, project managers, or administrative staff who need to segment and secure related documents for specific projects or cases. They help maintain document integrity and simplify access to categorized information.
Heavy-duty classification folders feature patent-pending, SafeShield Coated Fastener Technology to help prevent paper tears, finger cuts and excessive fastener crinkling. SafeShield adds protection for papers and fingers while also reducing fastener crinkling. Fasteners on front and back panels and dividers create separate filing surfaces within one folder. These two 2" coated fasteners on the panels are in positions 1 and 3. Letter-size folders are made of sturdy, 25 point Pressboard stock. The three dividers offer a 1" SafeShield-coated, twin-prong fastener and are made of 17 point stock. Tab on the folder is 2/5 cut. Tab on the dividers is 3/8" high and 1/3 cut.
