The Smead SafeSHIELD Fasteners 3-Div Classification Folders (SMD 14097) are designed for organizing letter-sized documents within a single folder. These heavy-duty folders feature SafeSHIELD Coated Fastener Technology, which aims to reduce paper tears, finger cuts, and fastener crinkling during use. Each folder includes two 2-inch coated fasteners on the front and back panels, plus three dividers, each with a 1-inch SafeSHIELD-coated twin-prong fastener. This configuration allows for the creation of multiple separate filing surfaces. Constructed from 25 pt. Pressboard stock, with 17 pt. Kraft dividers, these folders offer a 3-inch expansion capacity. They are suitable for businesses requiring a durable solution for managing categorized documents, such as project files or client records, where document integrity and easy access are priorities. The folders come in green, with a 2/5 cut tab located right of center, and are made from 100% recycled content.

SafeShield adds protection for papers and fingers while also reducing fastener crinkling. Fasteners on front and back panels and dividers create separate filing surfaces within one folder. These two 2" coated fasteners on the panels are in positions 1 and 3. Letter-size folders are made of sturdy, 25 point Pressboard stock. The three dividers offer a 1" SafeShield-coated, twin-prong fastener and are made of 17 point stock. Tab on the folder is 2/5 cut. Tab on the dividers is 3/8" high and 1/3 cut.
