The Smead SafeSHIELD Fasteners 3-Dividers Classification Folders are designed for organizing letter-sized documents within professional environments. These dark blue folders feature a 25 pt. Pressboard construction and include three 17 pt. Kraft dividers, creating multiple filing surfaces. Each folder offers a 3-inch expansion capacity and two 2-inch coated fasteners on the front and back panels, along with 1-inch coated twin-prong fasteners on each divider. The SafeSHIELD Coated Fastener Technology is integrated to mitigate paper tears and finger cuts during use. With a 2/5 cut tab located right of center, these folders are suitable for businesses requiring robust document segregation and protection. The SMD 14096 folders are supplied in boxes of 10 and are constructed from 100% recycled material, with 30% post-consumer waste.
Heavy-duty classification folders feature patent-pending, SafeShield Coated Fastener Technology to help prevent paper tears, finger cuts and excessive fastener crinkling. SafeShield adds protection for papers and fingers while also reducing fastener crinkling. Fasteners on front and back panels and dividers create separate filing surfaces within one folder. These two 2" coated fasteners on the panels are in positions 1 and 3. Letter-size folders are made of sturdy, 25 point Pressboard stock. The three dividers offer a 1" SafeShield-coated, twin-prong fastener and are made of 17 point stock. Tab on the folder is 2/5 cut. Tab on the dividers is 3/8" high and 1/3 cut.
