The Smead SafeSHIELD 3-Divider Classification Folders, part number SMD 14091, are designed for organizing letter-sized documents within a single folder. These heavy-duty folders feature 25 pt. Pressboard stock and expand up to 3 inches, accommodating a substantial volume of paperwork. The integrated SafeSHIELD Coated Fastener Technology is intended to reduce paper tears and finger cuts, while also minimizing fastener crinkling. Each folder includes two 2-inch coated fasteners on the front and back panels, along with three 17 pt. Kraft dividers, each equipped with a 1-inch SafeSHIELD coated twin-prong fastener. This configuration creates multiple separate filing surfaces, suitable for projects or records requiring distinct sections. The folders have a 2/5 cut tab located right of center. They are made from 100% recycled material, with 30% post-consumer waste, addressing environmental considerations for IT departments and businesses managing physical records.
