The Smead Pocket Divider PressBoard Classification Folders (SMD 14083) are designed for organizing letter-sized documents within professional environments. These heavy-duty folders feature a 25 pt. Pressboard stock construction and offer a 2" expansion capacity. Each folder includes two pocket-style dividers made from 11 pt. Kraft stock, providing multiple filing surfaces. The dividers incorporate patent-pending SafeShield Coated Fastener Technology, which aims to reduce paper tears and finger cuts, and minimize fastener crinkling. The folders are equipped with two 2" coated fasteners on the front and back panels (positions 1 and 3), and each divider has a 1" SafeShield-coated twin-prong fastener. Additionally, the dividers include a die-cut CD storage pocket. With a 2/5 cut tab located right of center, these folders are suitable for businesses requiring robust document classification and protection for sensitive papers.
