The Smead Interior File Folder, part number SMD 10230, is designed for organizing letter-sized documents within existing hanging file systems. These folders measure 8 1/2" x 11" and feature a 1/3 tab cut with assorted top tab positions, allowing multiple interior folders to be used without tab interference. Constructed from 11 pt. manila stock with a single-ply tab, they are scored for 3/4" expansion to accommodate varying document volumes. The undercut front panel facilitates easy access to contents. They are made with 10% recycled content, including 10% post-consumer waste, and are SFI certified, addressing basic environmental considerations for office supplies. Each box contains 100 folders.

Special-size folders fit neatly inside hanging folders to separate groups of papers and keep documents organized when removed from file drawers. Tabs are low enough not to interfere with vinyl tabs on hanging folders. Assorted, 1/3-cut tab positions allow more than one interior folder to be used within a single hanging folder.
