This product is suitable for IT and industrial applications requiring strong, durable bonds without traditional welding, drilling, or tapping. It addresses challenges associated with securing heavy components on vertical or overhead surfaces, as parts remain in place without sliding during application. The AT-8040 formulation bonds effectively to aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and plated steels, as well as engineered thermo- and thermosetting plastics and composites. It achieves handling strength in 12 minutes and a functional cure within 45 minutes, with ultimate tensile shear strength exceeding 3500 psi on aluminum. This adhesive is solvent-free and VOC compliant, making it a practical solution for securing components where conventional fastening methods are not feasible or desired.
