Constructed from marine-grade 316 stainless steel, the SkegGuard® features a reinforced wear tab designed to withstand wear from rocks and debris. Its 3mm thick lower plate prevents damage from underwater obstacles and accidental ramp dragging.
Installation is quick and easy, taking less than 10 minutes with common tools. Thanks to its self-locking hardware, it stays secure during use. The design ensures no drag or performance issues, while a drain hole prevents water accumulation.
If you're dealing with a broken skeg, the Megaware SkegGuard® can be effectively installed on units with as little as 2 inches of skeg left. It's a much more cost-effective option compared to welding a new skeg on. Models are available for various skeg designs.
