The Sangoma A101 is a Single Span T1/E1/J1 PCI Card designed with advanced Echo Cancellation hardware. It supports up to 30 voice calls or 2.048 Mbps of full duplex data throughput over a single T1, E1, or J1 line.
Featuring ring buffer DMA handling, it ensures minimal host intervention and guarantees data integrity on high volume systems. The card is compatible with Robbed Bit Channel Associated Signaling (CAS) and ISDN PRI, and supports T1/E1 and fractional T1/E1 with multiple channel HDLC options for mixed data/TDM voice applications.
With G.168-2002 echo cancellation integrated into the hardware, it offers 1024 taps and 128ms tail per channel across all channel densities. The card also provides DTMF decoding and tone recognition, enhancing voice quality through music protection, acoustic echo control, and adaptive noise reduction.
Importantly, the echo cancellation feature does not load the CPU, and the additional hardware does not increase the physical size of the card or require additional slots. It is fully supported for Asterisk, FreeSwitch, Yate, and various other open source and proprietary PBX, IVR, and VoIP gateway applications.
