SafeHelm2 Autopilot Control Sensor
The SafeHelm2 is an innovative sensor designed to enhance the safety and operation of your NavPilot autopilot system. Compatible with NavPilot 300, 700, and 711C models, this optional sensor allows the vessel operator to take immediate manual control while the autopilot is engaged. When the sensor detects manual steering, it temporarily switches the NavPilot to manual mode, giving the helmsman complete control over the vessel. Once the time interval is complete, it automatically restores the previous autopilot settings. This feature is essential for quickly maneuvering the vessel around obstacles without the need to disengage the autopilot manually.
The SafeHelm2 comes with all necessary adapter fittings, making it compatible with any hydraulic helm vessel fitted with a new or existing reversive pump autopilot drive system.
