The Ronstan Series 40 All Purpose Block - Single - Universal Head (RF41100) is designed for reliable performance in various marine applications. This block features a 40mm Acetal polymer sheave that operates on polished Grade 316 stainless steel races, ensuring consistent function under both dynamic and high static loads. Its self-lubricating sheave contributes to low maintenance and extended service life.

Equipped with a Captive Lock universal head, the block can be configured to swivel freely or be fixed in one of two planes, offering adaptability for different rigging setups. A slotted pin shackle is integrated to prevent fouled lines. This unit is suitable for sheets, halyards, vang, and spinnaker control lines on vessels up to 8 meters (26 feet), including off-the-beach catamarans, one design classes, and sportsboats. It provides a Maximum Working Load (M.W.L.) of 400kg (880lbs) and a Breaking Load (B.L.) of 1,000kg (2,200lbs).
