The PWS1000 Series power supplies provide 12, 24, or 48 Volts DC with continuous power output reaching 1000 Watts from both 110 or 220 Volt AC sources.
Designed with advanced Switchmode technology, the PWS1000 utilizes powerful IGBT switching transistors, ensuring reliability and efficiency while maintaining a compact size. Innovative circuit designs minimize output ripple to levels typically associated with bulky, inefficient linear power supplies. Key reliability features include an input fuse, thermal shutdown, current limiting, and automatic recovery from output short circuit conditions. An Output Over Voltage Crowbar circuit safeguards connected devices against excessive voltage in case of a unit failure.
The recently enhanced single-board PWS1000 is ultra-quiet and incorporates the latest generation of current mode PWM control. Additional features include an adjustable output voltage, as well as visual and audible indicators for low input voltage, low output voltage, overtemperature, overload, and output status. The power supply allows for field conversion between 110 or 220 VAC input and features a four-contact output terminal (two positive and two negative) for simplified device connections.
