The PSS PRO Shaft Seal is engineered for demanding marine applications, featuring stainless steel and carbon sealing components enhanced with a robust reinforced silicone bellow. Designed for durability and high resistance to corrosive environments, this mechanical face seal ensures optimal performance even under high pressure. The seal incorporates external rings standard on sizes +2-1/4" and optional for smaller sizes, alongside a secondary shaft retention collar and 316 Stainless Steel hose clamps. An optional Nitronic 50 rotor upgrade is available for extreme environments.

This specialized seal provides a unique solution, maintaining constant contact between the stainless steel rotor and stationary carbon flange. The design allows for axial movement compensation while ensuring alignment and vibration absorption through a floating carbon flange. The recessed O-rings effectively seal the rotor to the shaft, preventing wear during operation.
