The Fireboy-Xintex Propane Detector (P-1B-R) is a safety device designed for early detection of propane leaks. It features a 2-3/16" round black display with integrated LEDs and a Silence/Test button for user interaction. The system operates on a 9-30VDC power supply and is reverse polarity protected, ensuring compatibility with various power systems. An alarm sounds at 68 dBA, accompanied by a red LED, when propane concentration reaches 20% of the Lower Explosive Limit (LEL). The detector is engineered for simple installation and can operate in temperatures ranging from -40�F to 185�F. This model does not include a solenoid valve, focusing solely on detection and alarm functionality.
