The Icy Dock TOUGHARMOR MB994IKO-3SB METAL is a storage enclosure designed for integrating multiple drive types into a single 5.25-inch half-height device bay. This unit accommodates two 2.5-inch SATA/SAS hard drives or SSDs, alongside one slim optical disk drive (ODD). It supports SATA 6Gbps and SAS 12Gbps (dual channel) for the 2.5-inch drives, and SATA for the slim ODD. Drive height compatibility for 2.5-inch drives ranges from 5mm to 15mm. The enclosure features a full metal construction with EZ Slide Mini Trays for the 2.5-inch drives and an EZ-ODD Tray system. Power is supplied via two 4-pin Molex connectors, and a 40mm rear cooling fan with a power switch is included for thermal management.
