Raymarine's Type 2 Long Linear Drive is specifically designed for sailing vessels, providing reliable performance with powerful thrust and quick response times. This model is mounted below decks and directly engages the rudder by interfacing with the tiller arm or rudder quadrant.
The linear drive unit connects to the rudder stock using an independent tiller arm. Please note that accessory fittings from your particular steering manufacturer might be necessary, and the system must support back-driving from the rudder.
