This in-hull, dual frequency wideband transducer is perfect for larger offshore fiberglass boats that are looking for deep water target performance. Operating at both low (47-52 kHz) and high frequency range (190-210kHz), this transducer performs out to 2000 feet. The M422, is a 1.5kW Chirp transducer designed for offshore vessels.
The transducer includes a plastic housing which is secured inside the hull of the boat and is filled with Eco-friendly anti-freeze. The transducer is inserted into the housing and adjusted for the proper dead rise offset, insuring the beam is shooting straight down. The liquid provides the best medium to transmit through the fiberglass and into the surrounding water. The benefits to the in-hull transducer are that there are no protruding features on the exterior of the hull making it the perfect choice for trailered or lifted boats. Designed for boat up to 30 feet with solid core, fiberglass hulls.

The Airmar M422C-LH Transducer is a dual-frequency, in-hull CHIRP transducer designed for marine depth-finding applications. This unit operates across a low-frequency band of 47-52 kHz and a high-frequency band of 190-210 kHz, offering a depth range of up to 2000 feet (610 meters). It is suitable for larger offshore fiberglass boats up to 30 feet in length, specifically those with solid core fiberglass hulls and a hull deadrise between 2� and 20�. The M422C-LH-MM transducer is housed in urethane and installed internally within the hull, eliminating external protrusions. This design makes it particularly well-suited for trailered or lifted boats where external transducer mounts are impractical or undesirable. It provides deep-water target performance without compromising hull integrity or hydrodynamics.
This transducer is designed for use exclusively on solid core fiberglass hulls. It is not compatible with cored hulls or other hull materials.
