In 1959, TACO Metals Founder Dave Kushner took a small Miami-based aluminum railing fabrication company and grew it into an established metal and marine manufacturing full-service enterprise with more than 110 employees today. In the early 1970s, TACO Metals entered the marine market as South Florida became known as a mecca for the recreational marine industry. We recognized a market and became quickly identified as a primary source supplier for the marine industry.\n\nThe Next Generation of TACO\nOver the years, TACO grew to include regional warehouses throughout Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina while also expanding its company into international markets. Additionally, Dave\u2019s three sons, Jon, Mike and Bill, followed in their father\u2019s footsteps and led TACO after he retired in the early 90s.\n\nOn the Forefront of Innovation\nThe Kushner brothers took their passion for the marine industry to become leaders on the forefront of innovation \u2013 developing new products, such as the Grand Slam line of outrigger mounts and poles, universal replacement Rub Rail Kits, flex-chrome inserts, Rub Rail-integrated navigation lights, ball and socket canvas top fittings and Capri Helm Seats.
