Syncro solutions are designed to provide high availability (HA) and application uptime at a fraction of the cost and complexity of existing HA solutions. Syncro shared DAS solutions use two RAID controller cards, delivering shared storage clustering where controller-to-controller connectivity is provided through the SAS interface. Utilizing two volume servers and an inexpensive JBOD, the Syncro 12Gb/s 9380-8e shared DAS solution provides a low-cost HA solution at twice the speed of the previous generation for performance-intensive applications.
