The system includes a pendant that performs regular communication checks with the base station every 13 hours, ensuring reliable operation. In cases of power outages, low battery, or loss of RF signal, the central station is promptly notified. The pendant features audible prompts for setup, programming, testing, and system checks.
Equipped with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the pendant supports extended use, offering hours of talk time and up to 6 months of standby on a single charge, along with a 24-hour emergency battery backup. Up to four pendants or Emergency Wall Communicators can be programmed to one base, enhancing accessibility. The water-resistant design adds an additional layer of safety, and an optional built-in line-seizure relay can be activated during emergencies.
