IBI 200A Battery Isolator - 40V
The IBI (Ideal Battery Isolator) from Analytic Systems is engineered for use in 1, 2, and 3 bank battery systems. This innovative device allows multiple batteries to be charged simultaneously from a single alternator while providing electrical isolation between battery banks or between a vehicle and trailer.
Utilizing advanced Ideal Diode technology with MosFet Transistors, the isolator minimizes voltage drops to just 160 millivolts at 200 Amps, ensuring maximum efficient charging. At lower currents, the voltage drop is essentially zero, meaning that the full power of the alternator is dedicated to replenishing the batteries.
While primarily designed for use with an alternator, the IBI can also serve to convert a single bank battery charger into a two or three bank charger, or function as a pure diode for connections between a vehicle and a trailer or other remote load.
