Lateral file can be used freestanding. Its removable top allows it to be used under desk and credenza shells for maximum storage. Each drawer locks. Both drawers operate on full-extension, ball-bearing suspension to ensure smooth, quiet, long-lasting operation. Hangrails are included in each file drawer for side-to-side letter-size or legal-size filing, and for front-to-back letter-size filing. Surfaces feature attractive, scratch-resistant, stain-resistant, Mahogany thermal-fused laminate for an unbeatable combination of stunning beauty and rugged durability. Adjustable floor-leveling glides provide 3/4" of adjustment. Design also includes an inner lock mechanism and metal handle in silver finish for each drawer.
