The Propspeed Foulfree Foul-Release Transducer Coating, part number FF15K, is a specialized clear coat designed to maintain the performance of marine transducers. This 15ml kit is intended for IT and marine professionals managing vessel electronics, specifically addressing issues caused by marine growth on transducer surfaces. Fouling can reduce transducer sensitivity, impacting bottom-echo returns and fish target intensity, and can also increase turbulence leading to aeration and loss of bottom contact. Developed in collaboration with Airmar, Foulfree forms a slick, biocide-free surface that marine organisms struggle to adhere to. This helps ensure transducers remain clean and clear, preserving their operational integrity. The coating is Airmar certified to not cause any loss in transducer performance and offers a protective duration of 12-24 months per application. Each 15ml tube covers approximately 1 square foot, making this kit suitable for coating two transducers.

Features:
The kit includes one 15 ml tube of Foulfree, an XDclean wipe, an XDprime wipe, an applicator brush, and a light abrasive pad. These components are provided for application of the coating.
The Foulfree coating is designed to last for 12-24 months per application. This duration helps maintain transducer performance over an extended period.
Airmar certifies that Foulfree coating on its transducers results in no loss in transducer performance. The product is specifically developed for transducers and is transducer safe.
One 15 ml tube of Foulfree covers 1 square foot (0.1 m2) of surface area. This kit is designed to cover two transducers.
