The F4B-9 Flexible Impeller Pump is engineered to efficiently address a variety of raw water pumping needs. A key benefit of this pump is its self-priming capability. The design of the flexible impeller allows it to generate a vacuum, pulling fluid into the pump without the need for manual priming. This pump can lift water from a dry state up to 3 meters, making it suitable for engine cooling without needing to be positioned below the water line. Moreover, its ability to handle relatively large solids means that filtration of the incoming fluid is significantly reduced. The standard neoprene rubber impeller ensures durability for general freshwater application. However, both the impeller and seals require water for lubrication and should not be run dry to avoid damage.
