The EdgeMarc gateways offer PSTN gateway functions to support PRI and analog trunks, while also acting as an Enterprise Session Border Controller (ESBC) for enhanced security and Quality of Service (QoS) management of VoIP services. With WAN interfaces that include both Ethernet and optical, these devices are capable of functioning as optical termination devices. Designed to meet the demanding requirements of enterprises, the EdgeMarc 4806 and 4808 can support up to 1 Gb/sec symmetric WAN connections and handle up to 500 concurrent voice calls.
