The FLIR JCU4 Joystick Control Unit, part number E70695, is a remote 3-axis joystick controller designed for precision camera operation in various conditions. This unit is suitable for IT and business buyers seeking a dedicated tactile control solution for FLIR marine thermal and visible cameras. It integrates a 2.9-inch color LCD and a keypad to simplify camera operation and access setup menus. The dimmable color LCD and backlit keypad are intended to preserve operator vision during nighttime use. Three customizable keys allow for quick access to user-defined camera functions. The JCU4 can be paired with a FLIR marine camera and monitor for a complete viewing and control system, or added to an integrated chartplotter and camera setup as an alternative control method. It provides pan, tilt, zoom, and other camera function controls, addressing the need for dependable and intuitive camera management, particularly for users who actively navigate using thermal technology.
The FLIR JCU4 supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) with a nominal supply voltage of 48 V dc (operating range 44 V to 57 V dc). Alternatively, it can be powered by 12 V / 24 V dc, with an operating voltage range of 8 V to 32 V dc.
The box contains the JCU-4 unit with pre-fitted screws and mounting plates, a front cover, a weather cover, a documentation pack, a 3-meter right-angled RayNet (Ethernet) to RJ45 adapter cable, and a 3-meter right-angled 3-pin power cable.
