Airmar's DST800 is a 'Smart' transducer equipped with advanced circuitry that transforms sensor data into standard NMEA formats. This model features an NMEA 2000 drop cable, allowing easy connection to a T-connector on your network backbone. It is powered directly by the network, simplifying installation.
Utilizing a 235kHz frequency, the DST800 transducer minimizes interference with fishfinder devices. Please note that traditional fishfinder transducers do not offer NMEA compatibility, as they generate high volumes of analog data not suitable for NMEA conversion.
