With maintenance-free operation and precision-milled cutting cylinders, the 40530 Department Shredder supports the highly sensitive document destruction needs of busy offices. It can continually shred large quantities of paper into 1/32" x 7/16" particles with a chain-driven motor for slip-free performance and is the perfect size for daily, monthly and even quarterly shredding. This high-volume, P-6 shredder features a larger waste bin (38-gallon) for higher shred capacity and less frequent bag changes. Automatic EvenFlow Lubricator provides continuous oil across the cutting cylinders to maintain peak performance. Automatic jam protection reverses motor in the event of an overfeed. SmartPower Energy Management reduces power consumption and saves on electrical costs.
