Constructed from fully enclosed industrial-grade steel, this speaker meets the plenum-rated UL standard 2043 for smoke and heat release (report available online).
The integrated 70V/25V transformer offers 4-watt taps (4, 2, 1.5, and .25 watts), selected conveniently via a rotary switch. This model features an 8-inch main cone complemented by a secondary high-frequency cone for enhanced audio quality. A support rail crossbar is included for additional stability.
This speaker is compatible with both 2 ft. x 4 ft. and 2 ft. x 2 ft. suspended tile ceilings, and it includes a seismic attachment point for secure installation. The VR version features a recessed volume control that is easily accessible through the front grille, providing added convenience for users.
