This Cambium Networks activation key, part number C800082K009A, unlocks the XPIC (Cross-Polarization Interference Canceller) feature for PTP 820/850E radios operating in the mmWave frequency bands. XPIC is crucial for maximizing spectral efficiency and throughput in high-capacity wireless backhaul links by allowing the transmission of independent data streams on both horizontal and vertical polarizations simultaneously. Enabling this feature is essential for environments with high interference or when seeking to achieve the highest possible data rates.
