Basic Quad Mercury Engine Keyless Ignition Keyless Start/Stop with Pin
The Basic version of CoastKey has a start panel that provides keyless access to the boat. In addition to the control box and cables, it includes a Start Panel mounted at the steering position. To “unlock,” you enter a PIN code instead of using an ignition key. The obvious advantage of this solution is that you have keyless access to the boat, and if several people are using the boat, everyone has the same access without having to have their own keys. It is easy to change the PIN code to restrict access, for example, after renting out the boat.
CoastKey is installed instead of, or in parallel with, the existing ignition key, and you can still use the existing lanyard cord.
Features:
If you have a newer Mercury brand engine, installation is incredibly easy. The CoastKey Start Panel fits right into the same hole as the ignition switch and the connectors on the included cable fit right into the existing wiring harness. Truly PLUG & PLAY.
