Compared to other electric systems using old technologies designed over twenty years ago, the BOLT Electric combines cutting-edge technology with a robust and water-tight actuator. This new "Superior by Design" technology resolves the issues that older systems have with breaking apart and water intrusion caused by design flaws and marine growth.

While Bennett strongly recommends hydraulic trim tabs for most applications, electric trim tab systems are suitable for:

• Trailered boats from 17-28 feet
• Single actuator use, due to the inability to synchronize two electric actuators on the same tab

• SEA3000 12-volt actuators (2) with 6ft. Wire harnesses and waterproof connectors
• Stainless steel trim planes (2) and mounting plates
• 20 Ft Wire Harness with waterproof connectors

The Bennett BOLT129SML Electric Trim Tab System is designed for marine applications, specifically for trailered boats ranging from 17 to 28 feet. It includes two 12 x 9 stainless steel trim planes and two SEA3000 12-volt actuators, each with a 6ft wire harness and waterproof connectors, plus a 20ft wire harness with waterproof connectors. The actuators feature concealed wiring through the upper hinge, a water-tight black nylon construction, and a high main seal to protect against marine growth and water intrusion. Installation is designed to be straightforward, without requiring disassembly of actuator parts.
