Bennett Marine invented the electric trim tab in 1960 and now Bennett leads the way with a brand new electric trim tab system designed to outperform and outlast any electric system on the market.

Compared to other electric systems using old technologies designed over twenty years ago, the BOLT Electric combines cutting-edge technology with a robust and water-tight actuator. This new "Superior by Design" technology resolves the issues that older systems have with breaking apart and water intrusion caused by design flaws and marine growth.

While Bennett strongly recommends hydraulic trim tabs for most applications, electric trim tab systems are suitable for:

• Trailered boats from 17-28 feet
• Single actuator use, due to the inability to synchronize two electric actuators on the same tab

Requires one of the following controls to complete the system.

• BRC4000 - Bolt Rocker Switch
• BCN6000 - Bolt Control - Non Indicator
• BCI8000 - Bolt Control - With Indicator

• 12-volt actuators (2) with 6ft. wire harnesses and waterproof connectors
• Stainless steel trim planes (2) and mounting plates
• 20 Ft Wire Harness with waterproof connectors

Designed for trailered boats ranging from 17 to 28 feet, it addresses common issues found in older electric trim tab systems, such as water intrusion and component failure, through its water-tight black nylon actuator and concealed wiring. The main seal is positioned high to mitigate marine growth and water ingress. This system is suitable for single actuator use where synchronization of multiple electric actuators on the same tab is not required. It requires a separate control unit, such as the BRC4000, BCN6000, or BCI8000, to be fully operational.
