The Bogen 60 watt wall-mounted telephone paging amplifier is designed for commercial sound applications, allowing for seamless communication and background music integration. It features inputs for a balanced 600-ohm telephone line, low-impedance balanced microphone, and background music sources.
With an integral automatic level control (ALC) circuit, it manages variations in voice levels during paging, ensuring clarity. The amplifier automatically mutes background music when a page is made, with an adjustable muting level and smooth return to normal volume post-page.
The audio enhancement circuit improves sound intelligibility without extra power, reducing listener fatigue. Users can control page volume, music volume, night ringer, music mute, and audio enhancement separately, along with bass and treble adjustments.
The built-in night ringer can be triggered by contact closure or a 90V ring signal. It supports various output configurations for flexibility and has VOX sensitivity control to prevent unintended background noise transmission.
Moreover, it features thermal and electronic overload protection, bridging jacks for connecting additional TPU amplifiers, and easy wall or rack mounting options. The peak level indicator alerts when the amplifier approaches clipping, ensuring optimal performance, all powered by a 120V AC, 60 Hz source.
