Bogen BG-TPU35B 35W Wall-Mounted Telephone Paging Amplifier

The Bogen 35 watt wall-mounted telephone paging amplifier is designed for optimal communication in various settings. It features inputs for a 600-ohm balanced telephone line, Lo-Z balanced microphone, and background music, ensuring versatility in audio management.

This amplifier includes an integral automatic level control (ALC) circuit that adjusts for variations in voice levels and techniques, allowing for consistent paging quality. Audio controls allow for paging from either a telephone or microphone.

Background music is automatically muted during paging, with the ability to adjust muting levels. Upon completion of paging, background music gradually returns to its previous volume. The amplifier also contains an Audio Enhancement circuit that boosts clarity and loudness without additional power, reducing listener fatigue.

Additional features include separate controls for page volume, music volume, night ringer, music mute, and audio enhancement, along with bass and treble adjustments. The built-in night ringer can be activated by a contact closure or a 90V ring signal, making it flexible for various notification needs.

With multiple output options, including balanced or unbalanced 16-ohm, 25V, and 70V outputs, the unit is suitable for different configurations. Enhanced VOX sensitivity reduces accidental background noise transmission from paging telephones, while thermal and electronic overload protection ensures reliable performance.

The amplifier is equipped with jacks for bridging additional TPU amplifiers and comes with brackets for easy wall mounting. The TPU250 model can also be rack-mounted. Peak level indicator lights provide visual feedback when the amplifier nears clipping, ensuring safe operation. The unit operates on a 120V AC, 60 Hz power source and is compliant with UL Standard 60065 for safety in the U.S. & Canada.
