The Airmar B175C-20-HW-12G is a marine transducer designed for use with Chirp-ready echosounders on fiberglass or wood hulls. This unit provides depth and fast-response water temperature sensing. It operates within a high-frequency range of 150 kHz to 250 kHz, offering 100 kHz of total bandwidth. A key feature is its constant 25� beamwidth across the entire frequency band, which aims to provide broader coverage under the boat compared to transducers with narrower beams. This can result in enhanced bottom coverage and improved fish detection, particularly in the upper water column, and may produce clearer return images on compatible displays. The transducer is suitable for boats 8 meters (25 feet) and above, with a deadrise between 16� and 24�. It has a power rating of 1 kW at 1% duty cycle and includes a 12-pin Garmin Mix and Match cable for connectivity.
