Airmar B175 CHIRP High Frequency 20d Tilted Element With Bare Wire Mix-N-Match Cable
Model: B175C-20-H-0The transducer’s ceramic elements are permanently tilted inside the housing to compensate for the hull deadrise. This ensures the beam is aimed straight down, resulting in maximum echo returns and eliminating the need for a fairing
Flush/tilted transducers mount through a hole drilled in any fiberglass, metal or wooden hull, with the outside of the fitting flush against the exterior hull surface. Inside the fitting, the transducer’s active elements are permanently tilted to an angle to compensate for the hull deadrise, ensuring the sonar beam is aimed straight down.
High Frequency = Greater Detail (ex. 130-210 kHz) - More sensitive to small targets and will send back detailed information which will display as crisp, high-resolution images on the echosounder screen. Best for shallower water and popular with anglers fishing at depths less than 1500 feet

The Airmar B175C-20-H-0 is a 1 kW CHIRP transducer designed for marine applications, specifically for boats 8 meters (25 feet) and above with fiberglass or wood hulls. This unit provides depth and fast-response water temperature sensing. It operates across a high-frequency CHIRP range from 150 kHz to 210 kHz, offering 80 kHz of total bandwidth. The transducer's ceramic elements are permanently tilted at 20 degrees within the housing to compensate for hull deadrise between 16 and 25 degrees, ensuring the sonar beam is aimed straight down without requiring a fairing block. This design supports flush mounting through the hull. The high-frequency operation is suitable for shallower water, providing greater detail and crisp, high-resolution images on an echosounder screen, particularly for identifying smaller targets at depths less than 1000 feet.
This transducer is compatible with fiberglass or wood hull types. It is designed for flush mounting through a drilled hole in these materials.
The box includes the B175C-20-H-MM Transducer and an MMC-0 Mix-N-Match Cable. No connector is pre-attached to the cable.
This transducer is recommended for boats 8 meters (25 feet) and above. It is suitable for applications requiring depth and water temperature sensing.
The maximum depth capability for this transducer is 1000 feet. It is best suited for shallower water applications where detailed imaging is desired.
