The 1 kW, flush-mount, Tilted Element™ transducer is perfect for fast, trailered vessels that cannot accommodate a High-performance Fairing. The flush-mounted, bronze housing extends less than 6.35 mm (1/4") below the hull so that it can sit on trailer rollers and bunks. The ceramic arrays are tilted within the housing, providing a perfectly vertical beam with maximum energy at the point directly below the boat.

The Airmar SS164 20 Degree Thru-Hull Transducer is a 1 kW, dual-frequency sonar transducer designed for marine applications. It provides depth and water temperature sensing capabilities. This model, part number B164-20-MM, features a bronze thru-hull housing with a 20-degree tilted element, making it suitable for vessels with hull deadrise angles between 16 and 24 degrees. Its low-profile design extends less than 6.35 mm (1/4") below the hull, addressing concerns for fast, trailered boats by minimizing interference with trailer rollers and bunks, and avoiding the need for a fairing block. The transducer operates at 50 kHz with a 22-degree beamwidth for depths up to 549 m (1800') and 200 kHz with a 6-degree beamwidth for depths up to 244 m (800'). It is engineered for center-console and trailered boats, and interfaces with any 600 W or 1 kW echo sounder.
This transducer, with its bronze housing, is designed for use with fiberglass or wood hull materials. A stainless steel housing version (SS164) is available for other hull types.
The transducer includes a 2-meter (6.5') cable with an Airmar 9-Pin (MM1) connector. A separate Mix & Match cable is required to connect to your echo sounder display.
The transducer offers a maximum depth performance of 549 meters (1800 feet) at 50 kHz and 244 meters (800 feet) at 200 kHz.
