The Avaya IX JEM24 Expansion Module provides 24 additional line and feature buttons for your Avaya J169 or J179 IP phone.
Each button is equipped with a dual red/green indicator light, enhancing functionality and ease of use. When a single JEM24 module is connected, it offers up to 3 pages of 24 buttons, whereas multiple JEM24 modules can be daisy-chained for greater button access.
This module offers a color display when connected to the J179, while a grayscale display is available for the J169. Users can also adjust the brightness of the display directly from the connected base IP phone.
Up to three JEM24 modules can be connected to a single Avaya J169 or J179 IP phone, with power supplied through the base phone (increasing PoE to class 2). For setups with two or more JEM24 modules, an external 5V power supply is required.
No additional licensing is required for adding the Avaya JEM24 button module to your IP phone.
