The Seastar Autopilot pump is a fixed flow, reversible pump set that uses an internal hydraulic gear pump, producing very little vibration or noise. It is offered in two different pump sizes (type 1 & type 2).

The Seastar AP1233 Type 2 Pump is a 12-volt, fixed-flow, reversible hydraulic gear pump designed for marine autopilot systems. The pump is compatible with standard Seastar Hoses, utilizing 9/16 inch X 24 UNEF threads, and requires Seastar Steering Fluid (MIL 5606) for optimal performance. With a no-load displacement of 100 cubic inches per minute and a maximum pressure of 1000 psi, this Type 2 pump is intended for systems with ram capacities between 14 and 21 cubic inches. It operates with a typical current draw of 5-11 amps at 12V and includes all necessary mounting bracket displacement. The unit weighs 4.9 lbs and is ABYC, CE, and J1171 compliant, offering corrosion resistance for marine environments.
