ACR LB15V Lithium Primary Battery For SR303

The LB15V is a Primary Lithium non-rechargeable battery that is only intended for use when the SR303 is being used in an emergency situation. It includes a battery witness label so that there is never any question as to whether the primary battery has been used or not. Once the witness label is removed, the radio will auto power on when the battery is connected, and the unit will also automatically enter GMDSS operation mode with the following preset settings: channel 16, volume level 8, and squelch set to 2. This battery is the only battery included when the SR303 radio is purchased as an Emergency Radio (p/n 4586). When the SR303 is purchased as an Emergency Radio Full Kit (p/n 4587), then the LB15V Primary non-rechargeable is included in addition to the RB16V rechargeable Lithium battery for everyday use.
