The Veratron NavBox is essential for the AcquaLink� VDO Marine system, functioning as both the central processing unit (CPU) and a signal interface. It accommodates a diverse array of digital and analog inputs and is capable of connecting to up to four electronic engines using J1939 or NMEA 2000� protocols, or to one analog engine. Additionally, the unit supports two VDO Marine Sumlog� paddle wheel sensors and one analog VDO Marine Windsensor, enabling the integration of traditional VDO Marine products into a digital ecosystem.

Equipped with both NMEA 0183 input/output ports and buzzer output, the NavBox processes all received data and transmits it to the NMEA 2000� network and the VDO Marine Bus. This enables the display of critical data�such as engine metrics, liquid levels, pressures, and temperatures�on any compatible NMEA 2000� display or on tailored VDO Marine AcquaLink� gauges or TFT displays.
