The R&D Marine Engine Mount is expertly crafted for the demands of marine environments. Designed to manage both forward and reverse propeller thrust, this mount effectively minimizes drivetrain vibrations while ensuring stability.

Each mount features zinc-plated steel components, subject to passivation for reduced corrosion risk, along with a rubber component that is shielded against oils and petroleum products to enhance durability.

These mounts come preloaded, taking into account the total weight of the engine and transmission, to efficiently restrict engine movement. They are conveniently height adjustable, and the slotted mounting holes facilitate proper alignment during installation.

Selection Guide:

1. Calculate total engine and transmission weight.
2. Use 60% of this total to analyze rear mount capacity, dividing by 2.
3. Use 40% of this total to analyze front mount capacity, dividing by 2.
4. Determine necessary stud diameter and footprint.
5. Choose a mount that fits within the calculated weight range.

Example: An engine weight of 480 lbs and a transmission weight of 110 lbs results in a total weight of 590 lbs. For rear mounts: 590 x 0.6 / 2 = 177 lbs, suitable for mounts 800-010. For front mounts: 590 x 0.4 / 2 = 118 lbs, suitable for mounts 800-037.
