The Tie Down Engineering 850E Actuator utilizes the natural motion of the trailer to engage the brakes. As the trailer pushes against the tow vehicle, the actuator telescopes and activates the hydraulic brakes, providing seamless synchronization. This model is designed with a built-in dampening shock absorber to enhance stability and reduce jolting.
Before installation, ensure to review your tow vehicle's manual regarding towing capacities and brake requirements. This actuator is fully assembled for easy installation and is compatible with tongue sizes of 3"x 3", 3"x 4", and 3"x 5".
