The Model 750E operates through the "surge" mechanism when the trailer moves toward the tow vehicle, automatically syncing the trailer brakes with those of the tow vehicle. As the trailer pushes against the tow vehicle, the actuator telescopes and applies pressure to the master cylinder, generating hydraulic pressure for the brakes. This model includes a built-in dampening shock absorber that mitigates the shock during telescoping against the hitch ball.
