The TA 608 is a versatile T1 ATM network interface designed for VoATM and VoIP applications. It features a comprehensive echo cancellation system and compression resources that ensure high-quality digital voice transmission.

This device is capable of upgrading existing 2nd generation TA 612/616/624 T1 TDM setups to ATM for enhanced performance. An additional module is required for those not originally equipped with echo cancellation and compression resources.

With fixed FXS ports, the TA 608 provides flexible analog POTS interfaces through a 50-pin female Amphenol connector. This unit also includes an integral IP router with 10/100BaseT Ethernet, supporting DHCP, NAT/PAT, packet filtering, and various routing protocols.

Constructed with a durable metal casing, the TA 608 is backed by a 10-year warranty and can be powered by AC, with an option for battery backup available separately or bundled with the base unit.
